The James A. Dever Elementary School held their first PTA sponsored READ distribution, which serves to promote the students’ love of reading. Students from grades K through 6 had the opportunity to explore the vast genres of books provided by the PTA. The selections of both fiction and nonfiction books included “Amazing Snakes,” “Little Women,” “Pinkalicious,” “Fancy Nancy,” the Henry and Mudge series, the Junie B. Jones series and the “If You Give a…” series. Students thoroughly enjoyed searching through the tables of book trying to find the right one. Every student was then allowed to select one book to take home and keep. We’d like to thank the PTA for their generosity.
