Fifth-and sixth-grade students from Willow Road School showed off their unique talents during the school’s annual talent show, “Willow’s Got Talent.”
Each of the performing students took to the stage delivering high-energy routines that included singing, dancing, instrumental performances and other talents, which were met with booming applause from the entire student body. Highlights of the show included student Logan Balsan playing the “Star Spangled Banner” on trumpet, the “Who’s on First” comedy routine by James Barkoukis and Anthony DiNatale.
According to Special Education teacher Greer Korshin, students developed their routines outside of school and would meet with teachers in the weeks leading up to the show to make sure their act was developing. Korshin said the talent show provides students with a wonderful opportunity to showcase a variety of talents that might not be seen as part of other school activities.
