As part of the district’s ongoing character education program, sixth-grade students at Howell Road School met with members of the Student Peer Organization (SPO) from North High School to raise awareness of the proper behavior expected as they transition into middle school.
The club members visited the sixth-grade classrooms, and role-played various scenarios with the students to help prepare them for entry into middle school. They also offered useful strategies to help students succeed with unfamiliar situations they may encounter.
