Every year, in the midst of holiday shopping and the excitement of the approaching New Year, Howell Road Elementary School is filled with the sounds of children singing. Students, parents, administrators and teachers gather together on the final day of school, before the holiday vacation, to participate in Howell Road's traditional sing-a-long.
The sing-a-long provides a wonderful opportunity for everyone to simply come together to celebrate the holiday season with a wide variety of traditional holiday music. It also allows students to use the common language of music to bring everyone together to celebrate and appreciate our diversity. Students in kindergarten through fourth grade, dressed in their finest attire, raised their voices and shared their gift of song, a gift we all can appreciate and enjoy.
