The third grade students at the Wheeler Avenue School witnessed the astonishing transformation from catterpillar to butterfly. The cross curriculum interdisplinary approach to learning took place as the students applied their reading, writing, math and science skills to observe and record this exciting transformation. Ms. Dellapina's class is pictured releasing their beautiful painted lady butterflies as they venture into the world.
