To encourage a lifelong love of reading, members of the Willow Road School PTA generously volunteered their time to distribute new books to students. The partnership with the Scholastic Literacy Program, Be Excited About Reading, better known as BEAR affords students the opportunity to receive a new book to add to their personal library.
During the entire day, the Willow Road library was filled with excitement and anticipation as students had the opportunity to select a book and at the same time get front-page information from school librarian Carole Anne Gravert about the importance of reading. Thank you to the Willow Road School PTA especially, Christine Balsan, Nicole Buccellato and Liz Meany for making this book distribution a success!
