Sixth-grade student John Youssef in Mrs. Valerie Cassano’s class represented Wheeler Avenue School and the District at the LI Regional Spelling Bee held at Hofstra University on Sunday, March 13, 2016.
John was one of 36 finalists who qualified after the preliminary round.
