To ensure that students know what to do in the event of an emergency, Willow Road School conducted school bus safety drills. Students from all grade levels participated in these very important practice maneuvers. Prior to boarding the school buses, they reviewed emergency evacuation procedures in their classrooms. The students were then escorted outside to school buses situated in a safe and enclosed location on school grounds. With the assistance of transportation personnel, teachers and aides, the students practiced how to properly evacuate a school bus through the rear door in the event of an emergency. School bus safety drills are conducted annually at Willow Road School.
