Members of the Wheeler Avenue School Student Council, with assistance from school social worker Mini Bass, used the holiday season as an opportunity to remind everyone about the importance of giving to those in need by organizing a winter coat and clothing drive.
Following the successful completion of the drive, warm coats and winter clothing were donated to families in need, as well as to local church organizations within the community. Thanks to the generosity of students, families and staff, many in the community will be warmer this winter season.
