The Howell Road School winter concert highlighted the students’ many talents as demonstrated by powerful performances from the band, orchestra and chorus groups.
The band, directed by Louis Panacciulli, opened the concert with a trio of songs starting with Timothy Loest’s “March of the Champions.”
Directed by Mary Ann Cali, the orchestra performed three songs, including Brian Balmage’s “Pepperoni Pizza Rock.”
Next, the chorus, directed by Michael Rodgers, presented four songs, topped off by a rousing rendition of Walter Afansieff and Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” featuring soloist Stephanie Parkinson. Stephanie was one of seven students in the concert chorus who earned All-County chorus recognition.
Students Victoria Ling and Kashmiraa Pandit designed the artwork for the concert’s program.
