The James A. Dever School celebrated American Education Week and provided families and invited guests with the opportunity to observe first-hand their children’s classes in action. Teachers demonstrated various learning strategies and techniques used to solve problems; in some cases, including parents in the learning process by having parents pair up with their children to complete an activity. In several classes, visitors were treated to special performances by their children, who demonstrated their ability to memorize and present their knowledge in an artistic way. The children took great pride in presenting and sharing all they had learned in the first few months of school much to the delight of their families.
