The New York State Park Police are investigating a very serious incident that occurred in Valley Stream State Park at 11:00 AM on Sunday, September 1, 2013. The incident involved adults.
The New York State Park Police have asked us to reach out to you in case you were in the park and saw something unusual. If so, please contact The Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or the New York State Park Police at 631-321-3700.
I urge you and your family to be cautious when walking through the park until the police have completed their investigation.
