During the James A. Dever School celebration of American Education Week, parents were given the opportunity to observe, first-hand, their children’s classes in action. Teachers demonstrated various learning strategies and techniques used to solve problems.
Parents were included in the children’s learning experiences by giving them the opportunity to pair-up and complete the assigned activities. In some classes, parents were treated to performances by their children, which demonstrated the children’s abilities to present their knowledge in an artistic way. The children took great pride in showing off all they had learned during the past three months to the delight of their parents. A happy time was had by all!
